This is a really neat idea and I will now never have the issue of not having a wrench for weird bolt sizes. Mighty Car Mods always taking ingenuity to the next level.

Questionable number of applications - mostly only good for situations you'd like to use a crescent wrench and it's somewhat recessed. Washer distortion and limited bite are a killer.

No doubt it is limited but if I need something in a pinch it can be very useful. It beats having to travel somewhere to pick up a proper tool if I just need to remove something on a small job. If I need to remove a really important piece I would go and pick up a proper wrench for it.

Mostly in that sort of situation I gorilla on a Vise-Grip and turn it axially like a screwdriver, but that does mar things quite a bit.

You really want a set of these. They come in three sizes and are amazingly useful. They grab the flats, not the corners, and for gripping bolt shanks and tubing, they grab on three sides instead of just flattening. I keep a pair in the trunk of my car as a just in case thing.

Nice. Who makes those? Never mind I noticed the Vise Grip logo. Must go find.

Made by vise grip. Pretty sure you can get them at your local Home Depot.
